We are constantly abusing our hair by the use of harsh
chemicals in the form of dyeing, straightening and shampoos, which all have
devastating effects on hair. The hair becomes dull and limp when it loses oil
and its natural moisture. Apart from this, hair is also exposed to harmful
pollution, sun rays and dust which all add to the woe. Our diet and nutrition
also plays a role in promoting healthy hair. Here are 5 tips on natural remedies
for your hair care which can be made at home.
1. Jojoba oil for the treatment of
dandruff
When your scalp is ill nourished, it tends to dry up
causing dead skin cells which becomes flaky and dry. This causes itchy hair and
leads to other scalp problems. Here is a simple essential oil treatment which is
also an all purpose remedy.
Ingredients
2 tbsp of Jojoba oil
¼ tsp of tea tree oil
1 tsp of lemon
Preparation
Mix the lemon, jojoba oil and the tea tree oil
thoroughly.
Wet your hair and apply the
mixture.
Wait for 30 minutes and wash off with a herbal
shampoo.
2. Herbal infusion for hair
breakage
When hair is either too thin or dry it breaks off which
causes a lot of concern. To minimize hair losses due to breakage try this simple
remedy which helps in arresting breakage.

Sage
Rosemary.
These herbs can be dried or fresh upon
availability.

water.

hair.
